Our Story

Our home renovation journey began in 2015, when we bought our first property. It was a short drive to Tim’s job and conveniently close to Rachel’s school as well. But like most houses it needed updating, both cosmetically and functionally.

The four years after purchase it seemed like we were running. Tim, at the time a full time mechanic, and Rachel full time in dental hygiene, getting up early , going to work, to then go work on fixing up the house until late in the evening. Then repeat.

The repairs and updates we deemed fit for the rental property were completed in late 2019.

We have grown tremendously over the past 10 years. As of Spring 2021 we were able to get Tim to start working for our company full time, and Rachel soon followed in Spring 2022.

Our Plans

We strive to keep growing and becoming more. We plan to keep building out our wood shop to be. Able to take on a higher volume of product creations. As well as honing our skills in the fine craft of woodworking.

We want to stay creative and see what different avenues have to offer.

Aside from our business, thought we would share another growing passion of ours… Farming!

While this is no full fledged farm with big tractors and long rows, we have dedicated a few areas for the raising of chickens for eggs and gardens for year round food production. Gardening was always an interest for us but it mainly was a passive hobby at best. Things have changed recently, much credit is due to Eliot Coleman of Maine who along with his wife Barbara have wrote numerous books on the subject of farming. Most notably for us was the book Four-Season Harvest. In which is a treasure trove of information that will enable anyone to grow and harvest produce 365 days a year in a small plot.

This journey has become a full time part time job with great rewards. So if you also have similar interests in gardening or farming please do mention it. We would love to share our journey and learn about yours as well.
